The supply-chain programme: from factory gate to field
We connect your company with the farms you already buy from. Together we reduce emissions where they arise – and make climate action measurable, reportable and legally sound to communicate.
Strategy day at your site
Where are your largest emissions? Which raw materials and suppliers matter most? Which levers pay off, which funding fits? You leave with your first roadmap.
Invite farms
You get your own invitation link for your suppliers. We onboard the farms in AGRICOIN – farmers only send their documents.
Measure the baseline
A soil sample as baseline plus management data for the last three years. The sample is usually paid by the buyer; the data stays with the farm.
Implement measures
Tailored per farm: cover crops and undersowing, hedges and agroforestry, less mineral fertiliser, biochar. We support with advice, training and funding.
Re-measure and register
Only real, re-measured gains count. Every tonne gets a tonne passport with serial number, field and verifier – aligned with the EU carbon removal framework (CRCF).
Report honestly
Primary data for your Scope 3 inventory and wording you are allowed to use.
Insetting instead of offsetting
With insetting you finance reductions in your own value chain. This improves your Scope 3 inventory and strengthens your suppliers. Offsetting – compensation with credits from somewhere – may no longer be used for advertising claims such as “climate neutral” since 27 September 2026. What counts is a documented contribution with number, place and registry: contribution, not compensation.
Why farms take part
A humus credit sold on its own often does not even cover the soil sample. Carbon farming only pays for farms when the buyer is on board: sampling and onboarding are paid, the measures improve the soil, and the partnership is long-term. That is why the programme works for both sides.
What you get
A free CO₂ cockpit on Carbo Farm, an anonymised overview of participating farms and planned tonnes, tonne passports with origin and storage period, and a claim check showing which statements are allowed. You pay for real services: sampling, onboarding, support.
