2. Overview

We only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate a functional website, to provide our content and services or to handle your enquiries. We do not use any analytics or advertising trackers and we do not sell any data.

The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), (b) (contract and pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interest), as well as § 25 TDDDG for access to information on your terminal device.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located in Germany or the EU. A data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable provision of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Server log files

When you access the website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded:

  • IP address (truncated or stored only for a short time)
  • Date and time of access
  • Page accessed and amount of data transferred
  • Referrer URL
  • Browser type, operating system

These data serve exclusively for the technical provision, stability and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are not combined with other data and are deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless security-related incidents require longer retention.

5. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

6. Cookies and consent management

We only use cookies that are technically necessary for the operation of the website, e.g. to store your language selection (German/English) and your cookie settings (§ 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Content from external providers (e.g. YouTube videos) is only loaded once you have consented via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). We use the WordPress plugin “Complianz” for consent management; your choice is stored in a cookie in your browser. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link or the banner.

7. Contacting us and contact forms

If you contact us by form, e-mail or telephone, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, your request and your selection, such as guide or workshop) in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

Form data are transmitted to us by e-mail and are not stored permanently in the website database. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Mandatory fields are marked.

We delete your data as soon as your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law, up to 10 years) prevent this.

For sending e-mails and for our mailboxes we also use services provided by IONOS SE (data processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR).

8. Embedded YouTube videos

On some pages we embed videos from YouTube. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The videos are only loaded after you have given your consent. Only then is a connection established to YouTube/Google servers; in the process, data (including IP address, device and usage information) may also be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Links to external services

Our website contains simple links, e.g. to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Maps, Publuu or partner websites. These are plain links – only when you click on a link are you redirected to the respective provider’s website, and its privacy policy then applies.

10. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Your data are only passed on to the service providers named above, insofar as this is necessary for the purposes described, or where we are legally obliged to do so. Data are transferred to third countries only within the scope of section 8 and only with your consent.

11. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Withdraw any consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

To do so, simply contact info@tgo.ag.

12. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen (State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony), Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, www.lfd.niedersachsen.de.
