About us
Our trial farm: The Good Ones Farm
On around 2 hectares in Garrel (district of Cloppenburg, Lower Saxony) we show how regenerative farming works on a small scale – on sandy soil, off-grid, with our own solar system.
What happens there
A market garden with vegetables, seedlings and rare edible plants, a greenhouse with many tomato and chilli varieties, hedges, an orchard, ponds and a herb garden. A food forest is planned.
Why a trial farm
We only recommend to farmers and companies what we try ourselves. On the farm we test measures for humus building, irrigation and nutrient cycles – and show them in tours, workshops and education days.
Visit
The farm shop and events such as the harvest festival “Thank you, soil” are open to everyone. For teams we offer the environmental education day.
