Who is tgo AG?

Pioneer and companion on the path to genuine climate neutrality

tgo AG (The Good Ones Aktiengesellschaft) was founded in 2021 by Bernhard Aumann, who leads it as CEO (Vorstand). The company, based in Cloppenburg, advises farmers on how they can actively contribute to climate protection through green supply chains, carbon farming and biodiversity measures while generating new income at the same time.

tgo AG sees itself as a pioneer in climate protection and supports farmers and companies in achieving genuine climate neutrality through sustainable carbon sinks (= reservoirs that store carbon).

What services does tgo offer?

  • Advice on climate neutrality
  • Recording of CO2 emissions
  • Implementation of reduction measures (e.g. enriching soils with humus, agroforestry projects, converting biomass into biochar)

tgo advises farmers and companies on climate neutrality and decarbonisation strategy. The starting point is measurable CO2 emissions. tgo carries out a baseline assessment and shows how many emissions the farmer or company has produced. tgo then presents options for how CO2 emissions can be reduced and stored in the soil over the long term.

tgo also supports the implementation of concrete measures to enrich soils with humus, agroforestry projects and the conversion of biomass into biochar by means of pyrolysis. These processes store CO₂ for many years and thus create lasting sinks.

Verifiable, credible evidence of the savings and soil improvements achieved

tgo records the savings and soil improvements achieved and has them certified according to international standards. Farmers and companies thus receive robust evidence with which they can demonstrate their climate targets credibly and measurably and meet ESG and CSRD requirements. With tgo’s efficient ESG data management and digital solutions, sustainability indicators can be recorded centrally, analysed and automatically integrated into sustainability reports.

Our team

tgo AG has a small, dedicated core team and a large network of flexibly deployable specialists in carbon farming, CSRD, CO2 reduction and Scope 3 management. This team of experts makes it possible to offer tailor-made solutions for companies and farmers to achieve climate targets effectively.

WHY

WE CAN DO IT

Our focus areas:

Sustainability and innovation

1. Carbon farming: using soils as carbon stores

We help farmers turn their soils into effective carbon stores – through measures such as humus build-up, agroforestry and paludiculture. We have gained and shared many years of experience in various EU projects.

2. ESG reports: making sustainability measurable

Our tools and strategies enable companies to visibly reduce their CO₂ emissions and produce transparent ESG reports.

3. Insetting: designing climate-friendly supply chains

With tailor-made solutions, we help companies reduce CO₂ emissions within their value chain and make their processes more climate-friendly.
